VENASQUE, the village

Venasque is classified as one of "most beautiful village in France".

 

To see and  visit:

The Baptistry, the Church with its 17th century altarpiece, the Ramparts and the Roman Towers.

BICYCLES, Circuits & Rental

On small picturesque roads at the foot of Mont-Ventoux, the Dentelles de Montmirail, in the Gorges de la Nesque or on the Sault plateau, come and explore the Comtadine Provence.

Strawberries from Carpentras, cherries from the Monts de Venasque, lavender from Sault, the black truffle from Ventoux, muscat grapes from Ventoux, the long fig from Caromb...

 

Without forgetting our vineyards, lavender, olive oil and the famous markets of Provence (Venasque on Friday evenings from June to September, Saint Didier on Monday mornings all year round).
